Endless Desert

It is sometimes nice to drive up to the tallest dune in the desert, take off the shoes, let the warm fresh breeze hit your face and blow through your hair, walk on the soft sand and just look out into the endless desert, do it at night and you will enjoy the quite peaceful sky covered with bright stars.

Thanks DG, I like to get out of the city from time to time and think or just enjoy the calm and peace that is so abundant there.

I have always loved to walk on the beach...somtimes the sand is cool and wet, other times warm or even hot.
How I wonder what it would be like to put my feet in the sands of a desert....I loved your description! I could feel the wind...and the warm sand.
Thanks for a wonderful picture trip.

I love the desert, but last time I was there it was a bit cold. Still a delight to run around in the sand.

Wanda, I love the beach, water is my element, The sand of the desert is a bit different from the beaches, i feel its much more softer, quite cold at night and hot during the day, im glad you enjoyed the picture trip :-)

Its always a delight to take off your shoes and run around sand or even grass, you should be glad you didn't come in the summers. you wouldn't have been able to step on the sand its so hot.

I love the desert too!! Looking at the vast desert is like looking at the sea....except its not blue :)...but its the same feeling of realisation that the universe is vast!!

Thank for the reminder.

:-) True Radha, the universe is vast, I like the desert more because it gives me a feeling of peace and tranquility which i need so much living in Dubai.

Lotus I'm glad to bring back good memories, I don't know when you visited these parts last but a lot has changed and is changing, so do visit soon and hope you enjoy it here.
