You are welcome Radha, The paintings were quite nice although pricey. The Sindi culture and a lot of sindis actually are from Rajastan, the painting depict that quite well, I'v heard stories of the grand forts of Rajastan although never been there. There are a lot of forts in Sind too.

These are gorgeous! You know, I don't remember too many art exhibitions when I lived in Dubai in the early '90's. So glad to see there are so many now. Was also glad to learn about the msueum (in association with the Louvre)that will be opening in Abu Dhabi. It has received some criticism in France and some of the Western world, but I'll bet everyone in the UAE is ecstatic about it?

Lotus Reads, thanks for stopping by, true there was not much in the past, but Dubai is growing in more ways then one and it is great to now have exibitions and events that were not here 5-8 years back. People in the UAE are very excited about the louvre, thats for sure.

Thanks Shaykhspeara, these paintings were amazing, Pakistani artists are emerging into international markets. You will notice them exhibiting around the world.
